Sometimes, less is more and this step and repeat backdrop created for Art of Elysium’s Heaven Is A Library gala is a fine example how a simple black and white design can deliver a clean, sophisticated feel.
Honoring writer Neil Gaiman, the event promoted literacy and featured plenty of A-listers including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jon Hamm and Heidi Klum among others. Taking place in Los Angeles, the gala was also celebrating the 25 years of The Art of Elysium, a nonprofit that empowers artists and communities through art.
The event’s logo was designed to stand out, featured prominently in the middle of this long white step and repeat backdrop. Black sponsor logos for Art of Elysium, Gibson, Fisker, House with a Pool and WCPG were printed on both sides.
