We were happy to work with Amazon Prime again this week, this time for the premiere of their new series Mozart in the Jungle.
Based on New York Philharmonic oboist Blair Tindall’s eponymous memoir, this dramatic comedy offers an inside look at the Classical music world, indulging in sex, drugs and egocentrism. Produced by Roman Coppola (CQ), the show stars Lola Kirke (Gone Girl) as a young oboist playing in an orchestra whose conductor (Malcolm McDowell – Clockwork Orange) is getting replaced by a rising star (Mexican movie star Gael Garcia Bernal – Amorres Perros).
The series premiere was taking place at the Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York and we provided the following event production services:
- An 8′ x 32′ step and repeat backdrop made with gator boards
- Media lights
- Chrome stanchions and red velvet ropes
- 20ft long press risers
- Chromed 22″ x 28″ sign holder with foam core inserts
- And of course, a red carpet
The event was a success and we even got to meet Malcolm McDowell!
