Here’s an interesting setup we did for the NAACP Image Awards which are a yearly awards ceremony presented by the American National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and honoring outstanding people of color in film, television, music, and literature.
The event was being held at the Pasadena Civic Center and commemorated the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s assassination with plenty of talented guests such as Halle Berry, Issa Rae and Kerry Washington.
Red Carpet Systems was proud to provide step and repeats, carpet runners, lights, stanchions and ropes for both pre-show and post-show parties – hence two step and repeat and carpet setups. While one installation was featuring a classic black backdrop and red carpet, the other one was blue-themed, with both a blue carpet runner and backdrop.
