If you go to represent your company at a trade show, or run a small business yourself and want to draw attention to your services, you will want to come up with a display that makes your booth stand out.
Idea #1: Have A Pithy Pitch
The very first thing you want to do is make sure information you want absorbed by the customers is easy to read and comprehend. You want to give them a good understanding of what you’re selling and what you can offer them in as little time as possible as they browse by. Make sure any typeface is big enough and readable against color choices.
Idea #2: Invest in Quality Promotional Items
Most booths at trade shows give out some variety of promotional item, but your goal is to give something out that will impress people, make them remember you, and come back for more. Give out something nice that people will actually use, perhaps even full samples of product. Customers will remember you.
Idea #3: Interactable Activities
Whether this is a fun game that contestants can win prizes in, or a setup that allows attendees to have hands-on experience with your product, having an interactable activity is a great way to make sure your booth stands out from the crowd.
Idea #4: Give The Booth Color Or A Theme
Choose an interesting color scheme or layout that will look different from other booths. You can do this by looking into and knowing how your industry generally likes to present itself, or even look outside your industry to see what’s standard in others. Attend other industry trade shows or find photos of custom built trade show exhibits booths used in previous years to get an idea. You can make the booth welcoming by physically making it open, insular, and cozy. Use a theme, based around a product or service or just something fun that’s on point – check out our custom trade show exhibit production services we offer here.
Idea #5: Make The Booth Welcoming
The people running your booth are just as important as the booth’s appearance. Make sure whoever is going to be running the booth are good salespeople – not pushy, friendly, and genuinely interested in the people who come by and fixing their problem (that can hopefully be solved by your product or service).
It can be hard to stand out at a trade show, but with a worthy product, an attractive setup, and outgoing people to run it, your booth is sure to be a success. Get creative and do something different. A booth that stands out from all the rest simply cannot be ignored.
